This event is organised by Club Laser et Procédés, ICube, IPG Photonics, Irepa Laser, Precitec and Institut Photonique.

PLI Conférences is an unmissable event dedicated to industrial laser processes and their advances. An overview of the latest innovations in the field will be presented through a rich programme consisting of expert conferences.

The 2024 edition had gathered 183 attendees and 29 stands, 79% of which were industrialists and 11% of which came from foreign countries.

The conference programme is organised around thematic sessions and leaves time for discussion between the participants. French to English interpreting will be set up.

• Laser micromachining (UV ultrafast laser, spatial or temporal beam shaping, repetitive single pulse vs burst mode)
• Laser welding (dissimilar assembly, microwelding, thick materials, remote, automated, manual or with a cobot)
• Laser additive manufacturing
• Laser heating (drying, cleaning, polishing, annealing, brazing, curing, cold-oven, surface activation, oil cleaning, cooking…)
• Laser safety
• Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence for laser-based material processing (in-process control and monitoring, in-process dimensions measurement, data mining and analysis, decision-making, human-machine interface) by highlighting the benefits in terms of ease of use, technical capacity, quality, cost or development time

With a particular openness to energy transition, sustainable development and carbon-free energy. Usage or technological innovation, as well as emerging processes, will be also highlighted.
