Welcoming the UdPPC

On the 20^th of November, the Chair in Photonics of Centralesupélec welcomed in Metz the UdPPC (union of science professors and teachers).

The morning was dedicated to a conference on hydrogen, preceding a welcome and a presentation of the School, which was an opportunity to introduce new specialty courses, mainly for high school and preparatory classes teachers. For instance, CentraleSupélec offers a specialty course in Physics – Quantum systems, photonics, nanotechnologies, under the responsibility of Prof. Damien Rontani, which will open at the start of the 2025 academic year.

In the afternoon, attendees visited the photonics laboratories, with group activities on the slowing of light and lasers.
